            OEM and Automotive Aftermarket Business Development Manager
MediaTrac is a highly successful, private company in the San Francisco Bay Area and we are looking for a polished, aggressive, and highly accountable Business Development Manager to represent our customer loyalty and retention marketing solutions. Our LoyaltyTrac program is an industry-leading retention and rewards program with over 5,000,000 cardholders across 400 clients.

Job Function:

The Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for identifying and engaging strategic Automotive Aftermarket Companies, Vehicle Manufacturers, and VARs in the owner retention, pre-paid maintenance and marketing and advertising management space. You will be devoting your attention to business development and exploiting the business opportunities with auto manufacturers, leading VSC administrators and marketing service providers in both the US and Canada. You will be responsible for sourcing and establishing the initial client contact through the contract completion phase.

This position reports directly to Executive Management.

Job Requirements:

Hunter mentality
Detailed knowledge of dealership operations or senior level OEM or dealer aftermarket experience
Highly motivated, team player with VERY strong communication skills
Ability to compose detailed product presentations and client proposals
Ability to “value sell” with strong negotiation skills
Outgoing professional personality and appearance
Strong prospecting skill set
Ability to quickly and clearly communicate objectives
Positive attitude and impeccable work ethic
Extensive sales experience with executive management
Ability to travel to client locations
Experienced user of applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Ability to work independently


Essential Functions:

Maintain a constant stream of new partnership/sales opportunities through aggressive sales prospecting efforts
Provide quotes as needed to partners, their resellers, and end users
Be available as the primary point of contact for daily interactions with partner sales teams and customers
Professional compilation of client proposals
Gather and understand information from potential customers/partners to ensure that there is a common understanding of the value of services to be provided.
Maintain a status report of target partners/customers and deliver on a weekly basis to executive management
Maintain an accurate forecast for all sales opportunities
Maximize documentation relating to partner account in order to ensure all details needed to successfully implement and maintain relationship exist
Promote available solutions to partner sales teams, resellers, and end users as appropriate
Drive sales to a close
Maximize revenue and gross margin
Meet or exceed any financial goals that are set


We offer a competitive compensation package including a generous commission and bonus structure.

We are looking for full-time employees only. Preference will be given to local candidates, though we will also consider off-site arrangement for the right person.
